After a few days of rest after driving, we arrived back in the lower 48. Unloading the ferry went quickly, and by 9am, we were on the road again. We met our nephew William and his wife Angeline at Mt Vernon, Wa. We had a great visit over breakfast.  By 11:30am, we started the long drive to Grand Tetons.
After a short rest in Idaho Falls, we reached Tetons Pass around noon on Saturday..We could not believe the view from the pass. There were several brave people on bicycles that rode to the top and actually went flying down. One cyclist stated he usually went down at 55 mph, but this trip he was going to keep it around 35mph. Imagine that!
At the bottom on the pass, we pulled into Jackson Hole.  We spent several hours walking around town. Wish we could have spent more time in town, but we had reservations at a cabin in Grand Teton National Park. We followed the Snake River, until it spilled into Jackson Lake. We arrived at our cabin. We had a great meal and a long walk around the lake.  Early to bed, so we could get up before sunrise to take pictures.
